Virginia Craftsmen has operated on the premise throughout its existence that there could be no substitute for quality.  Today when the furniture market is congested with mechanically made and obviously inferior items those who desire quality, durability and authenticity will still find it here.

Through the years we have gathered what is one of the largest collections of precise plans and patterns in the reproduction industry.  Many of the patterns which we have are of American origin but others are attributable to English shops, the models being purchased and brought to the “New World” by wealthy planters.

Yes, we still make it like we used to, with the same plans and patterns, by the same methods, and with each painstaking step lovingly executed.  When each masterpiece of furniture is finished it stands as evidence of our complete dedication to quality and dignity.

We currently have over 3000 furniture plans, with patterns for over two hundred pieces, from the original Virginia Craftsmen collection, some of which we will soon be offering the use of to woodworking hobbyists.
